New Music: Anthony Hamilton -"Had To Learn From Love"

A lot of music has been leaking from Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Anthony Hamilton and this time it's an uptempo track, titled "Had To Learn From Love." Though it's known that Hamilton is busy working on a forthcoming album, it isn't clear if this track will make the album cut or if it`s from the vault. Nice track.

New Music: YahZarah - "I Can't Help It (Michael Jackson Remake)"

Grammy-nominated indie R&B songstress YahZarah has just delivered a great rendition of Michael Jackson`s classic track "I Can't Help It", taken from J.Period and DJ Spinna's mixtape "Michael Jackson: Man or the Music 2" released in association with Spike Lee. The singer totally out did herself with this soulful remake.

New Music: Cee-Lo feat. Tawiah - "I Want You (Hold On To Love)"

Cee-Lo Green teams up with British songstress Tawiah for the UK version of his current single "I Want You (Hold On To Love)", taken from his critically acclaimed "The Lady Killer". This is a nice touch to an already great track and I must say I am really feeling this duet. Warner Bros. is hoping for big things from Tawiah, and if this is anything to go by I think their expectations are justified.

New Music : Hollie Smith And Mara TK - "Promised Land Hotel Pt. 1 & 2"

New Zealand songstress Hollie Smith teams up with Electric Wire Hustle frontman Mara TK to create "Band of Brothers Vol: 1" - the long awaited follow up album to her critically acclaimed solo efforts "Long Player" and "Humour and the Misfortune of Others." "Promised Land Hotel Pt. 1 & 2." is their current single, the song is a remarkable mix of 1960s baroque pop and noir-ish mood across a cinematic six minutes, which samples Marvin Gaye's track "Don't Mess With Mr. T." Hollie's vocals are simply gorgeous and Mara TK does well by not interfering with the original track too much, rather saving his skills for the track's "Part 2."

Everything. Everytime. Everyone.

By Jackson Kiddard
“Everything you take for granted is a blessing. Everything you fear is a friend in disguise. Everything you want is a part of you. Everything you hate you hate about yourself. Everything you own does not define you. Everything you feel is the only Truth there is to know.

Everything you wish for is already on its way to you. Everything you think creates your life. Everything you seek for you will find. Everything you resist will stick around. Everything you let go of stays if it’s supposed to. Everything you need is right where you are.
Every time you bless another your bless yourself. Every time you blame another you lose your power. Every time you think you can, you can. Every time you fall you must get up and try again. Every time you cry you’re one tear closer to joy. Every time you ask for forgiveness, all you have to do is forgive yourself.

Everyone you see is your reflection. Everyone you know mirrors you. Everyone wants to be happy. Everyone wants to live in joy. Everyone seeks a higher purpose. Everyone breathes the same breath. Everyone needs love to survive. Everyone has a purpose to fulfill.

Everyone’s the same as everyone else. We just get caught up in labels, names, skin color and religion. Everyone’s the same as everyone else. No one wants to feel the pain. Everyone’s the same as everyone else. Everyone is dying for love to remain.”

Nice Lessons...

By George Carlin
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways ,but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just ignore it...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
