Taking A Break...

I'm writing today to let you know that after a lot of thought, I've decided to take another break from blogging, using Twitter - a complete break from the whole social networking arena. - not sure for how long. I have a lot of things to concentrate on at the moment like my career and a few personal things. I'll be reading all of your blog posts and will continue to be inspired by the creativity bloggers put forth into the world.
Thank you for following and for your support.

New Music: Tamia – "Beautiful Surprise"

Canadian songstress Tamia has premiered the title track and lead single off her forthcoming fifth studio album, "Beautiful Surprise" which is due out in June on Tamia’s record label, Plus 1 Music Group. The feel good mid-tempo was produced by Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Jazmine Sullivan) and Tamia co-wrote the record with Claude Kelly. The music video for it was shot last week and we can expect it to premiered soon. I really like this, but I don’t know if it’s a strong enough to be a lead single. Hopefully it will find success because Tamia is one of the best and most underrated artists ever.

Album In The Works: Paloma Faith Is Working On Her Second Album "Fall To Grace"

British songstress Paloma Faith will be returning with her follow-up album titled "Fall To Grace" on May 28 of this year, with a first single titled "Picking Up The Pieces"set to be released on May 20. The talented producer Nellee Hooper, who has produced for the likes of Massive Attack, Madonna, Bjork and many others, he's actually producing the whole album : "I’d never really heard of Paloma Faith… Sony/RCA called me and suggested I meet her when I was next in London. At lunch she sat and talked in such detail, as if every song was a short film, referencing everything from Chinese romantic cinema to Hip Hop. Paloma reminded me of my first meeting with Bjork… We just threw ourselves into the unknown… No idea or fear, just pure heart and adventure! I’m just so glad she asked to hold my hand and jump together!"

Paloma said: "The new album has taken on a very cinematic mood. Picking Up The Pieces is no exception. It deals with the issues of being in a relationship with someone who is still recovering from a previous relationship with another person. It is a song about self doubt and insecurity. I am very excited to introduce my new sound into the world. Working with Nellee Hooper has been really inspirational."
I can't wait.

Gorillaz have premiered their music video for their single titled "DoYaThing", they recorded with Andre 3000 and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem for Converse's latest "Three Artists. OneSong" campaign. The music video was created by the band's animator Jamie Hewlett, which is part 3D and 2D animation, part live-action, and all types of crazy.
"I've had a lot of dreams come true, and not all of them have been very savory, but this is definitely one of them. Gorillaz - Andre - James Murphy. It's a perfect cocktail, complete with its own little umbrella,I like the whole Three Artists. One Song idea. Gorillaz are all about collaboration, aren't we, so it seemed like a perfect fit."-Gorillaz's Murdoc
